Guided by one of our wise and experienced instructors outside on the lawn or deck at Blue Barn City Farm, you will enjoy a mindful, centering, and playful practice that goes deceptively deep. Props are available and encouraged. This class is for anyone. All instructors play live sound bowls during the final resting pose. mats available.

About Brandi Holland (Wed 9:15, Sun. 9:30): A SoCal native, Brandi is a 200 hour registered yoga teacher with over 20 years of practice in various styles. Her intuitive approach to teaching playfully weaves mindful breathing and somatic and trauma-informed movements with personalized instruction so that all may benefit. Family and health-centric, Brandi’s belief is that yoga heals from the inside out by aligning the mind, body and soul. Inspiring others to shine through love and peace is Brandi’s life’s work and we are so lucky to have her as part of the Blue Barn City Farm family!

About Zoë Roché (Tues & Thurs 9:15am): co-founder of Blue Barn City Farm. Zoë grew up in the San Fernando Valley as a competitive figure skater. Skating 4 hours a day through puberty forced a hyper awareness of body and self which she carried through her studies of modern dance and visual art. Surviving Breast Cancer is her most recent challenge to which she has responded with deeper joy seeking through yoga and art practices. Zoë is thrilled to share her love for mindful movement by focusing on the natural surroundings, intentional breath, gentle hip openers and spine mobility.

About Erin Tice (Sundays at 9:30am): Erin has practiced yoga for over 20 years (Vinyasa, Dharma, Agatha, Bikram, prenatal) and teaches a mindfulness-focused Vinyasastyle class followed by a multi-instrument sound bath during savasana. Erin is certified at the 500 hour level with Yoga Alliance, completing both the 200 and 300 hour level trainings with Awakened Warrior Yoga (AWY) in Southern California. She also has a certification in Restorative Yoga through AWY, and is a certified Sound Healer.

About Raina Kim (2nd Saturdays at 8:00am): Raina has practiced yoga (bikram, hatha, vinyasa) for over 15 years and mindful meditation (as distinct from yoga, which also includes meditation) for over 8 years. These practices have been foundational tools supporting her ongoing emotional, spiritual, and relational healing and growth. Raina offers an accessible and artful blend of ancient and modern approaches to mindfulness, including yoga-inspired breathwork, gentle stretches, contemplative stillness, and somatic movement.
